Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with hypercalcemia, those with sarcoidosis (a systemic inflammatory disease of unknown cause), or those with kidney disease. Individuals with allergies to any of the ingredients in this medication should avoid using it, and infants under the age of 3 months or patients with kidney stones should refrain from taking it. It is important not to take this medication concurrently with levodopa. Children under 1 year of age, individuals currently under medical treatment, children who are exposed to sunlight frequently and eat normally, pregnant women or those of childbearing potential, nursing mothers, premature infants, young children, and those with a history of kidney stones should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Because the vitamin D component can be secreted into breast milk and cause hypercalcemia in newborns, special caution is needed for pregnant or nursing women. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, loose stools, or oral inflammation occur during use, cease taking the medication immediately and consult a professional. Prolonged use of more than 500mg to 2g of pyridoxine daily may result in peripheral nerve dysfunction, and high doses of vitamin B12 administered in a state of folic acid deficiency may cause hematological abnormalities. Additionally, high-dose administration may exacerbate gastric ulcers, disrupt blood sugar control, increase serum uric acid levels, and cause liver damage, so caution is required. If you accidentally overdose or if symptoms do not improve after a month of use, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. This medication should be taken according to the prescribed dosage and should be supervised by a guardian when administered to children. Urine may turn yellow during use; this may affect clinical test results, so please take note. When storing, keep in a place out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and store in a tightly sealed container in a cool, dry place. Also, to prevent misuse and maintain quality, it is advisable not to transfer the medication to another container.
