This medication is used for epithelial disorders of the conjunctiva caused by endogenous conditions such as Sjögren’s syndrome, mucous membrane dryness syndrome, and dry eye syndrome, as well as those resulting from surgery, drug side effects, trauma, and contact lens wear.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Instill 1 drop 5-6 times a day. Adjust the dosage appropriately according to symptoms.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with a hypersensitivity to proteins. Various eye-related side effects such as itching, irritation, redness, conjunctivitis, and corneal disorders may occur. If these symptoms occur, discontinue use immediately and seek appropriate treatment. Additionally, hypersensitivity reactions such as eyelid inflammation or dermatitis may arise; if such symptoms occur, stop usage and seek treatment. When using this medication with other eye drops, the incidence of side effects may increase, so other eye drops should be applied first, followed by this medication 30 minutes later. This medication is for topical use only, and care must be taken to avoid contact between the tip of the container and the eyelids or eyelashes as the medication may become contaminated by discharge or bacteria. For single-use products, discard the first 1-2 drops and do not reuse any remaining liquid after opening; dispose of it immediately. Additionally, this medication should not be shared with others and should be kept out of reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight in a cool place, and do not transfer the medication to another container to maintain its quality.
