Relief of acute non-infectious conjunctivitis (swelling, redness) and anterior segment inflammation (anterior uveitis, etc.) and post-surgical inflammation.
This medication is used to treat acute non-infectious conjunctivitis with severe swelling and redness, allergic keratitis, non-infectious anterior segment inflammation such as anterior uveitis, scleritis, episcleritis, and inflammation occurring after strabismus surgery, cataract surgery, and glaucoma surgery. It effectively improves inflammation and symptoms of these conditions, aiding in the patient's eye health.
1 drop into the conjunctival sac 2-3 times a day. During the first 24-48 hours, 1 drop can be instilled every hour.
This medication should not be used by individuals allergic to specific ingredients. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should also not use this medication. Patients with eye infections or eye diseases such as glaucoma and dry eye should avoid this medication. Particularly, it should not be used in cases of corneal damage or viral, bacterial, or fungal infections. This medication is not for children under 2 years of age. Patients with circulatory disorders or metabolic diseases, or those taking certain medications should use this medication with caution. Individuals with a history of cataracts or herpes simplex infections should also exercise caution. Temporary eye irritation symptoms may appear when using this medication, and prolonged use may increase intraocular pressure, so regular check-ups are necessary. Additionally, prolonged use may result in eye redness, allergic reactions, dermatitis, etc. Long-term use of this medication may lead to cataracts or corneal damage, and there is a risk of secondary eye infections. Wound healing may be delayed, and rarely, eye protrusion or corneal scarring may occur, so caution is warranted. During treatment, it is advisable to avoid wearing contact lenses and not to use it for extended periods. If used for more than 2-3 days, regular checks of intraocular pressure, systemic side effects, and secondary infections are required. This medication may conceal or worsen eye infections, so it should be discontinued if infection symptoms occur. Temporary blurriness of vision may occur upon administration, so driving or operating dangerous machinery should be avoided until vision returns to normal. Children and patients taking specific medications are at a higher risk of systemic side effects, so caution should be exercised. This medication may be dangerous if used in conjunction with other medications that can raise blood pressure, so it should not be taken together. Additionally, the risk of side effects may increase if used with specific enzyme inhibitors, so consult a physician. The safety of this medication has not been established in children or adolescents, and systemic side effects may occur, so it should be used with caution. Serious side effects may result from overdose, so if an overdose is suspected, medical attention should be sought immediately. Before use, shake the bottle well and take care not to let the tip of the container come into direct contact with the eye. To prevent contamination of the medication, it is advisable not to share it with others. When storing, keep it out of reach of children and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. To maintain quality, it is important not to transfer the medication to another container.
Increased intraocular pressure, secondary infections of ocular tissues due to fungi, corneal perforation, severe allergic reactions (including eyelid eczema), severe swelling or urination difficulties, severe skin adverse reactions and severe neurological symptoms not mentioned, respiratory problems not mentioned, liver abnormalities (including jaundice) not mentioned.
Mild irritation symptoms that do not affect treatment immediately after application, reactive hyperemia with prolonged use, allergic reactions in the form of eyelid eczema, punctate keratitis, dermatitis around the eyes, cataracts and corneal deficits, exophthalmia, nutritional corneal damage, posterior capsule cataract, thinning of the cornea, headache and insomnia, pupil dilation, delayed wound healing.

This medication should be stored in a tightly sealed container to avoid exposure to air or moisture, ideally at room temperature between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius. Proper storage will help maintain the medication's effectiveness over time.
