Improvement of gastric and duodenal ulcers (gastritis, excessive gastric acid) and digestive symptoms
This medication neutralizes gastric acid to provide antacid action in diseases where the gastric mucosa is damaged, such as gastric and duodenal ulcers and gastritis, and is used to alleviate symptoms such as heartburn, nausea, vomiting, gastric pain, and belching caused by excessive gastric acid. This helps to reduce discomfort for patients and improve gastrointestinal health.
As Almagate, chew 1g three times a day, between 30 minutes and 1 hour after meals. One additional dose may be taken before bedtime if necessary.
Children aged 12 and older should follow the same dosage as adults.
This medication should not be taken by individuals allergic to this drug or its ingredients. Additionally, individuals with Alzheimer's disease, hemorrhoids, or significant fluid retention should avoid taking it. Patients with preeclampsia and those with severe diarrhea or unexplained gastrointestinal bleeding should not take this medication. During the use of this medication, it should not be taken simultaneously with tetracycline antibiotics, as this drug can interfere with the absorption of antibiotics. Patients currently taking other medications should consult a physician or pharmacist, as this medication may affect the absorption or excretion of other drugs. Particularly, individuals with poor kidney function should be careful, as the magnesium or aluminum contents in the medication may accumulate in the body. Additionally, individuals in poor health or those on a diet with restricted phosphorus intake, as well as those with malabsorption issues, should be cautious of potential long-term effects on bone health if taking this medication for an extended period. Elderly patients, those with symptoms of gastrointestinal bleeding, pregnant women or women with a possibility of pregnancy, and nursing mothers should consult a professional before taking this medication. If constipation or diarrhea occurs or symptoms do not improve within two weeks while taking this drug, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician. When taking this medication, adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration instructions, and children should be administered under the supervision of a guardian. Store this medication out of reach of children, do not remove it from its original container, and keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Do not take this medication with tetracycline antibiotics. Patients taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, ulcer treatment agents, digitalis preparations, chlorpromazine, lansoprazole, prednisolone, penicillin, quinolones, iron preparations, or salicylates should consult with a physician or pharmacist.
This medication should be stored in a tightly closed container to protect it from air or moisture. The storage temperature should be maintained at room temperature between 1°C and 30°C. Proper storage will help maintain the drug's efficacy and safety over time.
