Adult dose

Use in adult men The recommended dose of this medicine is 10mg, taken with or without food before anticipated sexual activity. Patients who do not achieve sufficient effect with tadalafil 10mg may try 20 mg. This medicine may be taken at least 30 minutes before sexual activity. The maximum recommended frequency of use is once daily. Long-term safety after extended daily dosing has not been established, and because the effect of this medicine usually lasts for more than one day, continuous daily use is strongly discouraged. [See section 1. Warnings and section 11.1) Pharmacodynamic properties] Use in elderly men No dosage adjustments are required in elderly patients. Use in men with renal impairment No dose adjustment is required in patients with mild to moderate renal impairment. The maximum recommended dose in patients with severe renal impairment is 10mg. [See section 11.2) Pharmacokinetic properties]. Use in men with hepatic impairment The recommended dose of this product is 10mg, taken with or without food before anticipated sexual activity. Clinical data on the safety of this product in patients with severe hepatic impairment (Child-Pugh Class C) are limited; therefore, if prescribing it, the physician should carefully assess the individual benefit/risk. There are no data on administering doses higher than 10mg to patients with hepatic impairment. [See section 3. Patients Requiring Caution and section 11.2) Pharmacokinetic properties]. Use in men with diabetes No dose adjustment is required in patients with diabetes.

Child dose

Under 18 years: This product should not be used in persons under 18 years of age.

This drug is used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. Before using the medication, it is essential to consult a doctor for diagnosis and a physical examination, especially to check heart health. Sexual activity can put stress on the heart; therefore, patients with cardiovascular disease should be cautious. If symptoms such as chest pain or palpitations occur during sexual activity, it should be stopped immediately and a doctor consulted. If an erection lasts for more than 4 hours after taking this medication, immediate medical assistance is necessary as untreated prolonged erections may lead to penile tissue damage or loss of erectile function. This medication may cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure if taken with nitrate drugs or NO donors, so patients using these medications should not use this product. Patients with a recent history of cardiovascular diseases such as myocardial infarction, unstable angina, heart failure, or stroke should not use this medication. Patients with hereditary retinal diseases or allergies to any component of this medication should also refrain from usage. Additionally, it is advisable not to use this medication in combination with other erectile dysfunction treatments, and patients with lactose intolerance should exercise caution. Patients with severe kidney or liver dysfunction, and those taking alpha-blockers or certain antifungals and antivirals should be under special medical supervision. This medication may cause side effects including headaches, dyspepsia, back pain, myalgia, flushing, and more; serious cardiovascular reactions or loss of vision and hearing have been reported infrequently. If sudden loss of vision or hearing occurs during treatment, the medication should be stopped immediately and medical advice sought. Taking this medication with alcohol may further lower blood pressure, so it is advisable to avoid or be cautious with alcohol consumption. In case of overdose, immediate medical treatment should be sought, as hemodialysis does not significantly impact the drug's elimination. Lastly, this medication should not be used by children and should be stored out of reach of children.
