Relief of gastroesophageal reflux and gastrointestinal disorders (abdominal pain, dyspepsia), alleviation of irritable bowel syndrome, treatment of pediatric vomiting and intestinal disorders
This medication helps improve gastrointestinal symptoms such as abdominal pain, dyspepsia, nausea, and vomiting due to gastroesophageal reflux and hiatal hernia, as well as gastritis and duodenitis and ulcers. It is also effective in alleviating symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome and colonic spasm. In children, it can be used to improve habitual vomiting and non-infectious intestinal pain and disorders, such as constipation and diarrhea. Overall, this medication is effectively used for various gastrointestinal-related symptoms and conditions.
As Trimebutine Maleate, take 100-200 mg orally three times a day before meals. Adjust dosage according to age and symptoms.
This medication may affect the gastrointestinal system and can rarely cause constipation or diarrhea, abdominal sounds, nausea, vomiting, dyspepsia, dry mouth, or a numb feeling in the mouth. Additionally, symptoms of rapid heartbeat may occur rarely. It may also affect mental or neurological function, with fatigue, drowsiness, dizziness, weakness, and headaches occurring rarely. This medication can affect liver function, so there is a possibility of elevated GOT and GPT levels in blood tests indicating liver function. Rarely, skin rash or hypersensitivity reactions may occur, and if such symptoms manifest, the medication should be immediately discontinued. The safety of this medication during pregnancy has not been sufficiently established, therefore, women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should only use this medication if the benefits of therapy are deemed greater than the risks. Lactating women should avoid using this medication if possible, and if it is necessary to take it, it is advisable to discontinue breastfeeding. Additionally, since this medication contains lactose, patients who are genetically unable to digest lactose or absorb glucose and galactose properly should not take this medication.

This medication should be stored in a tightly closed container to prevent air and moisture penetration, and it is important to maintain a storage temperature between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius at room temperature. Proper temperature and sealing are essential to maintain the effectiveness of the medication.
