Treatment of peripheral arterial circulation disorders (intermittent claudication) and organic brain function disorders (tinnitus, headache, etc.)
This medication is used to treat peripheral arterial circulation disorders, particularly symptoms of intermittent claudication. It also helps alleviate symptoms of dizziness and vascular and degenerative tinnitus. It is effective for the treatment of organic brain function disorders related to dementia symptoms such as headache, memory decline, concentration problems, depression, and dizziness. This medication improves blood circulation and supports brain function, contributing to alleviating overall neurological symptoms. Therefore, it is used for treating peripheral blood circulation issues and various neurological symptoms.
1) For peripheral arterial circulation disorders, dizziness, tinnitus: 40 milligrams of Ginkgo leaf dried extract, taken orally 3 times a day or 80 milligrams, taken orally 2 times a day. 2) For organic brain function disorders: 40 to 80 milligrams of Ginkgo leaf dried extract, taken orally 3 times a day or 120 milligrams, taken orally 2 times a day. Adjust according to age and symptoms.
This medication should not be taken by individuals with specific allergies. In particular, it is not safe for children under the age of 12 due to insufficient experience with its use. Pregnant women should also exercise caution when taking this medication and consult with a specialist due to insufficient usage experience. Furthermore, this medication contains lactose and should not be taken by individuals with lactose intolerance or related genetic conditions. Individuals with bleeding disorders or those taking medications that affect blood coagulation must consult with a doctor or pharmacist before using this medication. Nursing women should also consult with a specialist as it is uncertain whether this medication is excreted in breast milk. If an individual is scheduled for surgery, they should stop taking this medication and consult with medical staff. If symptoms do not improve or worsen after 3 months of taking this medication, consult with a specialist immediately. Mild gastrointestinal discomfort, headache, allergic skin reactions, dizziness, and itching may occur while taking this medication, and such symptoms have been reported. Severe allergic reactions such as anaphylaxis may rarely occur; if symptoms appear, consult medical staff immediately. This medication is not a treatment for hypertension, so hypertensive patients should not use it unless special treatment is required.
