Adult dose

1) Gastric ulcer (Adults) Administer 4mg of irsogladine maleate orally once daily. 2) Improvement of gastric mucosal lesions (erosion, bleeding, redness, and edema) in the following conditions: acute gastritis and acute exacerbation of chronic gastritis (Adults) Administer 4mg of irsogladine maleate orally in 1 to 2 divided doses daily.

This medication contains lactose and should not be used by patients with genetic disorders that inhibit lactose digestion. Abnormal liver function may occur during treatment with this medication, so caution is required if liver enzyme levels rise or if symptoms of liver dysfunction appear. Side effects such as constipation, diarrhea, and skin rashes may occur rarely, and immediate consultation with a healthcare professional is necessary if symptoms arise. Symptoms such as dizziness, drowsiness, and loss of appetite have also been reported, so caution is needed when driving or operating machinery. The elderly may have weakened physical function, so it is advisable to start with a lower dose and carefully monitor their condition when taking this medication. Pregnant women or women who may become pregnant should only use this medication cautiously after consulting a physician if it is necessary. Breastfeeding women are advised to avoid using this medication if possible, or to discontinue breastfeeding, as this medication may be partially transferred into breast milk. The safety of this medication in children has not been sufficiently confirmed, so it is advisable not to use it in children except in special cases.
