How to take

Adult dose

Aged 8 years and older and adults: 2 tablets per dose, 3 times a day Dissolve in the mouth or chew after meals.

Child dose

Children aged 36 months to under 8 years: 1 tablet per dose, 3 times a day Dissolve in the mouth or chew after meals.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when administering more than 5,000 IU of vitamin A daily to women within the first three months of pregnancy or to those who may become pregnant, as it may pose a risk of congenital malformations. Aspartame, an artificial sweetener included in this medicine, decomposes into phenylalanine in the body, so patients with a genetic disorder called phenylketonuria should not take it. People with certain conditions such as hypercalcemia, sarcoidosis, or kidney disease should not take this medicine, and those with allergies to this drug or its ingredients should also avoid it. Infants under 12 months, patients with kidney stones, and those with severe renal failure should not use this medicine. Since this medicine contains lactose, patients with genetic issues such as galactose intolerance, deficiency of lactose-digesting enzymes, or glucose-galactose absorption disorders should not take it. During the course of taking this medicine, it should not be combined with phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracyclines, antacids, or drugs such as levodopa. In particular, infants under 1 year old, patients undergoing treatment, children exposed to sunlight, patients with hyperoxaluria, pregnant or lactating women, and patients with heart and kidney disorders should consult a physician or pharmacist before taking this medicine. If abnormal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, skin itching, joint swelling, diarrhea, rash, arrhythmia, or facial flushing occur during use, stop taking it immediately and consult a specialist. Moreover, prolonged high-dose use may lead to side effects such as neurological disorders, blood abnormalities, peptic ulcers, liver damage, and hypercalcemia, so caution is necessary. This medicine must be taken according to the prescribed method and dosage, and it should be administered to children under the supervision of a guardian. While taking it, it is advisable to avoid drinks containing tannins, such as green tea or black tea. When storing, keep it in a cool and dry place out of reach of children, protect it from direct sunlight, and do not transfer it to other containers.
