This medication is used to relieve various symptoms of the cold, including runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Aged 15 years and older: Take 2 capsules after meals, three times a day, 30 minutes after eating.

Precautions

This medication may put a strain on the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol a day should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. The acetaminophen included in this medication can rarely cause serious skin reactions. If you notice any abnormal symptoms such as rash or itching after taking it, stop taking it immediately and consult a professional. Be careful not to exceed the maximum daily dose of 4,000 mg of acetaminophen and do not take it with other medications that contain acetaminophen. The pseudoephedrine in this medication can rarely cause severe skin reactions, so if you experience fever, red spots on the skin, or small blisters, discontinue use and consult a professional. Individuals with hypersensitivity or a history of asthma, infants under three months of age, those with severe hypertension or kidney disease should not take this medication. During the course of taking this medication, it is advisable not to take cough medicines, other cold medications, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Particularly, children or the elderly, as well as individuals with liver, kidney, heart, thyroid disease, or allergic constitution should definitely consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Interactions

Drug interactions

Do not take this medication together with MAO inhibitors (such as antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, and antiparkinson drugs), cough suppressants, other cold medications, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines. People who have stopped taking MAO inhibitors within the past two weeks should not take this medication. Diabetes medications, gout medications, arthritis medications, anticoagulants, steroids, barbiturates, tricyclic antidepressants, and antihistamines.
