This medication is used to effectively control blood pressure in patients with essential hypertension who do not achieve sufficient blood pressure control with monotherapy using Telmisartan or Amlodipine.

How to take

Adult dose

The recommended dosage of this medication is 1 tablet once a day, to be taken with water, regardless of meal timing. It is recommended to take it at the same time each day (e.g., in the morning). Dosage adjustment may be necessary for patients with renal impairment, liver impairment, and elderly patients, especially those with severe renal impairment or over 75 years old, who should start with a lower dose and gradually increase it.

Child dose

The safety and efficacy of this medication have not been established in pediatric patients under 18 years of age, and its use is not recommended.

Precautions

This medication should not be used during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters, as it can pose serious risks to the fetus. Serious side effects such as decreased fetal kidney function, skull formation abnormalities, anuria, and renal failure may occur, and administration should be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy. This medication should not be administered to certain patients. For example, it is contraindicated in individuals with allergies to the drug components, pregnant or nursing women, patients with severe liver dysfunction, patients with serious hypotension, and unstable heart failure after acute myocardial infarction.
