Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with hypercalcemia (high calcium levels in the blood), sarcoidosis (a systemic inflammatory disease with unknown causes), or those with kidney disease. Additionally, individuals allergic to any of the ingredients or children under 12 months old and kidney stone patients should avoid taking this medication. This medication contains lactose, so individuals with lactose intolerance or genetic problems such as galactose malabsorption should not take it. While taking this medication, it should not be taken simultaneously with phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline antibiotics, antacids, and levodopa should also be avoided. Patients receiving treatment from a physician, those with hyperoxaluria, pregnant or possibly pregnant women, nursing mothers, premature infants, and infants should always consult an expert before taking this medication due to the risk of hypercalcemia in newborns from vitamin D secretion in breast milk. Those with heart or circulatory issues, kidney disorders, hypoalbuminemia, gout, or a history of kidney stones also need to consult before taking this medication. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal discomfort, skin rash, hypotension, or pulmonary edema occur, stop taking immediately and consult an expert. It is also necessary to consult immediately if there is a rapid increase in menstrual cycle or prolonged bleeding. Women taking estrogen-containing oral contraceptives or individuals with a risk of thrombosis should be cautious that the risk of thrombosis may increase with vitamin E intake. Long-term high-dose use may lead to tolerance, and excessive intake of pyridoxine may cause neurological disorders. High doses of vitamin B12 may lead to hematological abnormalities in patients with folate deficiency. High-dose intake can cause peptic ulcers, impaired glucose tolerance, hyperuricemia, and liver damage, so caution is required. In cases of massive intake, symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, hypernatremia, congestive heart failure, and edema may occur, and there is a risk of hyperkalemia when taken with certain diuretics, so caution is advised. If there is no improvement of symptoms after one month of use, consult an expert, and also consult immediately in case of overdose. This medication must be taken according to the prescribed dosage and should be noted that it can affect blood sugar detection in urine tests and may change urine to yellow, affecting test results. During intake, it is recommended to avoid tannin-containing teas such as green tea and black tea. When storing, keep it out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and store it in a cool, dry place. Additionally, do not transfer the medication to another container, and to prevent misuse and maintain quality, keep it in the original container.
