This medicine is used to supplement vitamin D needed during pregnancy, lactation, the growth period, and old age to aid in the normal development of bones and teeth, and to prevent rickets. It also supplies zinc to support healthy metabolism.
How to take
Adult dose
Adults aged 12 years and older should take 1 tablet once daily.
Precautions
Do not take this medicine if you have hypercalcemia, sarcoidosis, or kidney disease. Additionally, do not take it if you are allergic to this drug or any of its components. Infants under 12 months old, patients with kidney stones, and patients with severe renal failure should also refrain from taking this medication. This medicine contains lactose, so individuals with genetic issues such as galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not use it. During the use of this drug, do not take other medications such as phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracyclines, or antacids. Women undergoing treatment, pregnant or possibly pregnant, nursing mothers, premature infants, and infants must consult with a specialist before taking this medication. Anyone with heart or circulatory issues, kidney disorders, hypoproteinemia, or a history of kidney stones should also consult a specialist before use. If during use you experience symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, red spots, abnormal heart rhythms, central nervous system issues, gastrointestinal disorders, low blood pressure, or pulmonary edema, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. Additionally, overdose may cause gastrointestinal symptoms, heart problems, and edema, so caution is advised. Store it out of reach of children, protect it from direct sunlight, and keep it in a tightly sealed container in a cool, dry place to maintain its quality.
