Adult dose

Administer 90mg of Artemisia asiatica 95% ethanol soft extract orally twice daily after meals.

This drug contains ingredients that may cause allergic reactions; therefore, it should not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to this drug or its components. Additionally, since it contains lactose, it should not be administered to patients with genetic problems such as lactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption. Patients with thrombosis or disseminated intravascular coagulation, as well as those with significant issues related to the liver, kidneys, heart, lungs, or blood, should use this medication with caution. Patients with a history of drug allergies or those allergic to Yellow No. 4 (tartrazine) should also exercise caution. While taking this medication, gastrointestinal adverse reactions such as belching, abdominal distension, indigestion, nausea, and vomiting may occur, so symptoms should be carefully monitored. Changes in liver function or clinical test values have also been reported, so caution is especially required in patients with liver health issues. Insufficient research has been conducted on using this medication in patients with peptic ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease, gastritis, and gastric ulcers, as well as those with a history of gastric resection, necessitating careful use. This medication can be administered for a maximum of 2 weeks; however, if symptoms do not improve after 2 weeks, the medication should be discontinued and a professional consulted. The safety of this medication has not been established in pregnant women or women who may become pregnant, so it is important to carefully weigh the benefits and risks when using it. Additionally, the transfer of this medication to breast milk is unknown, so it should only be used cautiously when necessary by nursing women. Safety and efficacy in neonates, infants, children, and adolescents have not been established, so it is advisable not to administer it to this age group. Elderly patients over 75 years old may experience adverse reactions more easily, so careful monitoring is required during administration. This medication should be stored in a tightly sealed container to prevent air and moisture intrusion, in a cool place away from direct sunlight, and out of reach of children. Moreover, transferring it to another container is not advisable for maintaining quality, so it should be kept in its original container.
