Vitamin D aids in the development of bones and teeth and is used to prevent rickets, a condition where bones weaken. Therefore, supplementation of Vitamin D during these periods helps maintain bone health and facilitates growth and the aging process.

How to take

Adult dose

For individuals aged 8 years and older, take 1 tablet once daily.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with hypercalcemia, sarcoidosis (a systemic inflammatory disease of unknown cause), or those with kidney disease. Additionally, individuals allergic to this medication or its components, infants under 12 months of age, patients with kidney stones, and those with severe renal failure should not take this medication. This product contains lactose, so those with genetic disorders that prevent lactose digestion should not take it. This medication should not be taken in conjunction with phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline antibiotics, or antacids. Children under 1 year of age, patients currently undergoing treatment, children who are fully exposed to sunlight and eat normally, pregnant or breastfeeding women, premature infants or infants, patients with heart or circulatory issues, individuals with kidney impairments, those lacking protein, patients taking cardiac glycosides, and those with a history of kidney stones must consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medication. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, hypotension, flushing, irregular heartbeat, or skin rashes appear during the use of this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Overdose may lead to gastrointestinal disturbances, hypernatremia, congestive heart failure, and edema, so caution is necessary, and long-term use may lead to hypercalcemia or the formation of stones. Furthermore, co-administration with certain diuretics may increase the risk of elevated potassium levels in the blood, requiring caution. Follow the prescribed dosage accurately, and when administering to children, do so under the supervision of a guardian. It is advisable to avoid teas containing tannins, such as green tea or black tea, around the time of taking this medication. This medication should be kept out of reach of children and stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, in a tightly sealed container. For quality maintenance, it is essential not to transfer the product to another container.
