Prevention of myocardial infarction and stroke due to essential hypertension and decreased cardiovascular disease risk
This medication is used to treat essential hypertension. It is also effective in reducing the risk of cardiovascular diseases. This medication is particularly suitable for patients over the age of 55 who have a history of coronary artery disease, peripheral artery disease, stroke or transient ischemic attack, or have high-risk diabetes leading to damage to target organs, especially those who cannot tolerate ACE inhibitors. Therefore, it plays an important role in hypertension management and the prevention of cardiovascular diseases.
