This medication is used when blood pressure control is difficult in patients with essential hypertension when taken in combination with amlodipine and olmesartan medoxomil. These two medications work to dilate blood vessels and reduce blood pressure, effectively aiding in blood pressure control. It is particularly suitable for patients for whom blood pressure control is difficult with a single drug alone. By stabilizing blood pressure, it helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases. Hence, it is effectively used in the treatment of essential hypertension.
