This medication is used as a combination therapy of amlodipine and olmesartan medoxomil for patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is inadequately controlled on previous treatment. It effectively improves blood pressure control.

How to take

Adult dose

This medication is taken once daily as one tablet with or without food. It is recommended to take it at the same time each day (e.g., in the morning). The recommended dosing is as follows: - 5/20/12.5 mg: Administered to patients whose blood pressure is inadequately controlled with the combination therapy of amlodipine/olmesartan medoxomil 5/20 mg. - 5/40/12.5 mg: Administered to patients whose blood pressure is inadequately controlled with the combination therapy of amlodipine/olmesartan medoxomil 5/40 mg.

Child dose

Safety and efficacy for pediatric patients under 18 years have not been established, so the use of this medication is not recommended.

Precautions

This medication may cause severe harm to the fetus and newborn if taken during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy, so it must be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy.
