Improvement in blood pressure control in essential hypertension
The combination therapy of Amlodipine and Olmesartan Medoxomil is used for patients with essential hypertension, that is, those who have difficulty in achieving adequate blood pressure control on their own. These medications help lower blood pressure by dilating blood vessels, therefore aiding in blood pressure management. Patients can reduce the risk of complications through stable blood pressure control achieved with this medication. Consistent usage and regular blood pressure monitoring is important, and taking as directed by a physician can effectively treat hypertension.
This medication should be taken once daily in one tablet form with water, regardless of meals. It is recommended to take it at the same time each day (e.g., in the morning) if possible. The maximum dosage is 10/40/25mg of amlodipine/olmesartan medoxomil/hydrochlorothiazide. Dosage adjustments should be considered after more than 2 weeks based on the patient’s blood pressure response.
