View approved original text

The combination therapy of amlodipine and olmesartan medoxomil is used when blood pressure is not adequately controlled in patients with essential hypertension. Each drug helps to lower blood pressure by dilating the blood vessels, thereby contributing to effective blood pressure control. This therapy is used to reliably improve the blood pressure of patients with hypertension requiring consistent management and reduce cardiovascular risks and prevent complications.
