Efficacy & effects

Improvement in blood pressure control for essential hypertension

  • Essential Hypertension
View approved original text

Combination therapy with Amlodipine and Olmesartan Medoxomil is used when blood pressure is poorly controlled in patients with essential hypertension. These medications work together to help dilate blood vessels and lower blood pressure. Effective control of hypertension is important as it puts stress on the heart and blood vessels, potentially leading to various complications. Improving blood pressure control through combination therapy contributes to the prevention of cardiovascular diseases. Therefore, this treatment is actively used in managing hypertension.
