This medication is used as a combination therapy of amlodipine and olmesartan medoxomil to effectively control the blood pressure of patients whose blood pressure is not appropriately managed due to essential hypertension.

How to take

Adult dose

This medication should be taken once daily with water, regardless of meals. It is recommended to take it at the same time each day (e.g., in the morning) if possible. The recommended dosing is as follows: - 5/20/12.5mg: Administered to patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with amlodipine/olmesartan medoxomil combination therapy of 5/20mg. - 5/40/12.5mg: Administered to patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with amlodipine/olmesartan medoxomil combination therapy of 5/40mg.

Child dose

Safety and efficacy in pediatric patients under 18 years of age have not been established, so the use of this medication is not recommended.

Precautions

This medication should not be used during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy as it may cause serious harm to the fetus or newborn. If pregnant, discontinue use immediately.
