Efficacy & effects

Improvement of blood pressure control in essential hypertension

  • Essential hypertension
View approved original text

This medication helps effectively lower blood pressure in cases of essential hypertension, especially when blood pressure is not sufficiently controlled with existing treatment, by combining amlodipine and olmesartan medoxomil. The two components work to dilate blood vessels and regulate blood pressure, thereby reducing the strain on the heart and blood vessels. This reduces the risk of complications due to hypertension and improves cardiovascular health. Using this combination therapy enhances treatment effectiveness and provides more stable blood pressure management for patients. Therefore, this medication is used for the treatment of uncontrolled essential hypertension.
