Adult dose

This drug is taken once daily, with one tablet swallowed with water regardless of meals. It is recommended to take it at the same time every day (e.g., in the morning). The recommended dosages are as follows: - 5/20/12.5 mg: To be given to patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with amlodipine/olmesartan medoxomil 5/20 mg combination therapy. - 5/40/12.5 mg: Amlodipine/Olmesartan Medoxomil 5/40 mg

Child dose

The safety and efficacy of this drug in pediatric patients under 18 years of age have not been established, so its use is not recommended.

This drug can cause serious harm to the fetus and neonate during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy; therefore, if pregnancy is confirmed, it should be discontinued immediately. Patients with allergies to any of the ingredients or related drugs, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and those with severe hypotension or issues related to the heart, liver, or kidneys should not take this drug. Patients with low blood volume or body salt levels may experience hypotension, necessitating careful monitoring of their condition before administration, and caution is also needed for those with kidney function issues or kidney transplant recipients. Patients with weak liver function or progressive liver disease, as well as those with heart valve diseases, should also be cautious when taking this drug. Because this drug has a strong effect in lowering blood pressure, dizziness or drowsiness may occur, so it is advisable to avoid driving or operating dangerous machinery. This drug may affect potassium levels, so when taken with potassium supplements or potassium-sparing diuretics, regular blood potassium concentration testing is necessary. There may be interactions with other antihypertensives, certain analgesics, lithium, etc., so it is important to consult a physician or pharmacist. This drug may increase skin sensitivity to sunlight, so it is advisable to be cautious about UV protection during use, and to report any skin abnormalities immediately. Elderly patients, those with diabetes, and patients with a history of gout should also be cautious during administration, and it is not recommended for children as safety has not been established. In case of overdose, hypotension, palpitations, etc., may occur, so the dosage must be strictly followed, and any abnormal symptoms should be promptly reported to healthcare personnel. This drug should be stored in a tightly closed container, away from moisture, heat, and light, and out of reach of children.
