Originally a treatment for hypertension, this medication is additionally used for patients who cannot achieve adequate blood pressure control with telmisartan alone. This helps to control blood pressure and reduce the risk of complications due to hypertension.

How to take

Adult dose

For patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled, take once daily with or without food along with a drink. Dosing of each component should be adjusted based on individual needs. Patients with mild to moderate renal impairment do not require dose adjustments; however, severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance <30 mL/min) patients should not be administered this medication. Patients with mild to moderate liver impairment should not exceed 40/12.5 mg per day.

Child dose

Safety and efficacy have not been established in children under 18 years, so use is not recommended.

Precautions

This medication should not be used during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters, as it can pose serious risks to the fetus. Administration is contraindicated for patients who are allergic to any component of this medication or have specific liver or kidney diseases.
