The recommended dosage for this medication is 5 mg once daily. It can be taken regardless of meals.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with allergies to the active ingredient or other components of this medication. It is also safe to avoid administering it to patients with type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis. Caution is required when using this medication in conjunction with drugs that can cause hypoglycemia, such as insulin or sulfonylureas, as the risk of hypoglycemia may increase.
