This medication is used for skin diseases that involve thickening of the skin, such as progressive keratolysis and palmoplantar keratoderma. It is also effective for symptoms of dryness and cracking of the skin, such as eczema in children and senile xerosis. It helps treat inflammatory skin diseases like follicular lichen and atopic dermatitis. Overall, it is used for the improvement of various keratotic and dry skin disorders.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Wash the affected area (where the disease is) 1 to several times a day, then apply this medicine and rub it in thoroughly.

Precautions

This medicine should not be used in mucous areas such as the conjunctiva. People with an allergy to this medicine should avoid its use. It is advisable not to apply it to areas with acute eczema or inflammatory skin diseases. Caution is needed when applying to large areas in patients with poor kidney function. Temporary irritation may occur when used on inflamed or cracked skin, so it should be used carefully. People with sensitive skin may also experience irritation symptoms when using this medicine. Symptoms of irritation such as pain, warmth, redness, and itching may temporarily appear upon application. If an allergic reaction occurs, use should be immediately discontinued. If the skin becomes drier or symptoms such as eczema, cracks, tingling, burning, or scaling worsen, use should be stopped.
