This medication is used to effectively manage blood pressure in patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with amlodipine or telmisartan monotherapy.

How to take

Adult dose

The recommended dose of this medication is 1 tablet once daily, to be taken with water regardless of meals. It is recommended to take it at the same time every day (e.g., in the morning). No dose adjustment is needed for patients with mild to moderate renal impairment, but patients with severe renal impairment should start treatment at a lower dose and gradually increase it. Precautions

This medication can pose serious risks to the fetus during pregnancy, particularly in the second and third trimesters, and should not be used by women who are pregnant or could become pregnant. Patients with allergies to any components of this medication, those with severely impaired liver function, those with obstructive biliary disease, severe hypotension, or severely compromised heart function should not use this medication. Patients with certain heart valve diseases, liver dysfunction, gastrointestinal diseases, renal vascular diseases, and elderly patients should use this medication with special caution. Common side effects may include dizziness, edema, and hypotension; while serious side effects are rare, they may occur, and if symptoms manifest, prompt consultation with healthcare professionals is necessary. Women who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant should switch to other antihypertensive medications that have been proven safe, and if pregnancy is confirmed, should discontinue this drug immediately. While taking this medication, blood pressure may drop too low. Therefore, especially patients with deficiencies in fluid or sodium should consult with their doctor before use and monitor their condition carefully. There is a risk of increased potassium levels in the blood, so caution is required when taking potassium supplements or potassium-containing foods, and regular blood tests are advisable. Patients with compromised kidney function should have their renal function monitored regularly while on this medication, and safety has not been established in kidney transplant patients. Patients with heart disease should be particularly careful, as the risk of angina or myocardial infarction may increase when using this medication. This medication may cause drowsiness or dizziness, so it is advisable to avoid driving or operating dangerous machinery while taking it.
