This medication is used to reduce the tactile sensitivity of the male genitalia.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Apply 0.25-0.66 grams (23-62 mg of lidocaine) as a gel 5-15 minutes before intercourse. Dosage and application time vary by individual, and the minimum effective dose should be used. Do not exceed 2 grams (184 mg of lidocaine) within 24 hours.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with liver or kidney diseases. If a rash or irritation appears on the skin during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor if symptoms persist. Long-term use without a doctor's direction should be avoided for more than 3 months. This medication is a topical agent for application on the skin only and should not be used on mucous membranes such as the eyes or nose. Reapplying to the same area repeatedly is not recommended.
