This medication is used in patients with essential hypertension who have difficulty controlling blood pressure with monotherapy using telmisartan and amlodipine and who also need rosuvastatin. The telmisartan/amlodipine combination effectively lowers blood pressure and improves hypertension, while rosuvastatin calcium helps manage hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia resistant to dietary measures. Additionally, rosuvastatin is used to delay the progression of atherosclerosis and reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases. In particular, it also reduces the risk of recurrence of stroke, myocardial infarction, and revascularization procedures in high-risk patients. This medication is suitable for patients who need simultaneous management of blood pressure and lipids and improves cardiovascular health.
