Estrenes Tablet (Mugwort 95% Ethanol Extract (20→1))

Adult dose

Administer 90mg of soft extract of Artemisiae Argyi Folium in 95% ethanol orally twice daily after meals.

This drug should not be administered to patients who are hypersensitive to this drug or its components. Additionally, this drug contains lactose and should not be used in patients with genetic issues like galactose intolerance, congenital lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption. Caution is required when administering this drug to patients with thrombotic disorders or consumptive coagulopathy, or those with serious problems involving the liver, kidneys, heart, lungs, or blood. Patients with a history of drug allergy symptoms, or those allergic or hypersensitive to the dye known as Yellow No. 4 (Tartrazine) included in this drug should also take care. During treatment with this drug, gastrointestinal symptoms such as occasional belching, abdominal distension, indigestion, nausea, and vomiting may occur, and liver function test values may temporarily increase. The use of this drug has not been sufficiently studied in patients with peptic ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease, gastritis or gastric ulcers caused by nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, and in those with a history of gastric resection; therefore, caution is needed. This drug is normally used for 2 weeks, and if symptoms do not improve, the medication should be discontinued and a doctor or pharmacist consulted. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should only use this drug if the benefits of treatment are determined to outweigh the risks. Lactating women should also be cautious, as it is not clear whether this drug is transmitted through breast milk, and it should only be used if the therapeutic benefits outweigh the risks. Safety and efficacy in neonates, infants, children, and adolescents have not been confirmed; therefore, it is advisable not to administer this drug to this age group. Elderly patients over 75 may experience adverse reactions more easily, therefore should be monitored closely and administered with caution. This drug should be stored out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, in a cool, dry place with the lid tightly closed. Additionally, transferring the drug to another container is not good for maintaining quality and may lead to accidents.

This drug can be sensitive to air and humidity and must be stored in a tightly sealed container. It is important to maintain the storage temperature between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius to retain the efficacy of the drug.
