In patients with essential hypertension, when blood pressure is not adequately controlled with Telmisartan or Amlodipine monotherapy, this medicine can be added to achieve more effective blood pressure control.

How to take

Adult dose

The recommended dosage for adults is 1 tablet once daily, to be taken with water regardless of meals. It is advisable to take it at the same time each day (e.g., morning). For patients with renal impairment, no dosage adjustment is needed for mild to moderate cases, but severe cases should start at a lower dose and gradually increase. Hepatic impairment patients should not exceed a daily dose of 40 milligrams of Telmisartan.

Child dose

Precautions

This medication can pose a serious risk to the fetus during pregnancy, particularly in the second and third trimesters, so women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not take this medicine.
