Adult dose

Adults: For silymarin, the initial dose is 140mg (or 60mg of silibinin) taken three times a day. The maintenance dose is 70mg (or 30mg of silibinin) taken three times a day, or 140mg (or 60mg of silibinin) taken twice a day.

This medication should not be taken by patients with severe biliary obstruction, those with hypersensitivity to this medication, or children under 12 years of age. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If unusual symptoms such as stomach pain or diarrhea occur during use, or if an allergic reaction is suspected, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. It is important to follow the prescribed dosage and administration, and to consult a doctor or pharmacist if jaundice symptoms occur. Additionally, if symptoms do not improve after one month of taking the medication or if taken for a long time, it is advisable to seek professional examination. When storing, keep this medication out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and store in a cool, dry place with the lid tightly closed. Transferring medication from its original container to another container may cause incorrect usage or degradation of quality, so it must be stored in its original container.
