Precautions

This medication should be discussed with a doctor or pharmacist if used by someone who regularly consumes more than a certain amount of alcohol per day, as it may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding. This drug can affect the cardiovascular system, so patients at risk of heart disease or stroke should use it cautiously, and discontinue immediately if symptoms such as chest pain or shortness of breath occur. There may be serious issues like gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, or perforations, thus elderly individuals or those with a history of gastrointestinal diseases should especially take care. This medication can cause serious skin reactions or allergic reactions, so discontinue use immediately and consult a physician if any unusual skin symptoms occur. It may affect kidney function; hence, dosage adjustments and careful monitoring are necessary for patients with kidney disease or those with high blood pressure or heart failure. Liver function abnormalities may occur, so those with liver disease or abnormal liver function tests should have regular check-ups and stop taking the medication if abnormalities arise. Women who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant should not take this medication, and breastfeeding women should also avoid it. This medication must not be administered to individuals with certain genetic metabolic disorders, nor should those allergic to aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs take it. Because there are many potential drug interactions, especially with anticoagulants, diuretics, lithium, and methotrexate, consultation with a physician is mandatory if these medications are being taken. Elderly individuals may experience weakened kidney, liver, and heart functions, thus should use the minimal dose with caution and be alert for adverse reactions. In cases of overdose, symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, and gastrointestinal bleeding can occur, necessitating immediate medical treatment. Keep out of reach of children and store in the original container to maintain the quality of the medication.
