Skeletal muscle disorders, postoperative pain, tooth extraction pain, dysmenorrhea, tendonitis, bursitis: Initial dose of 500mg of naproxen taken orally, then 250mg every 6-8 hours, ensuring total daily dose does not exceed 1,250mg. 4. Migraine: Initial dose of 750mg of naproxen taken orally. If necessary, an additional 250-500mg may be taken after 30 minutes from the initial dose. Total daily dose should not exceed 1,250mg. Adjust dosage based on age and symptoms.

How to take

Adult dose

Interactions

Drug interactions

Do not take this medication with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and naproxen derivatives. Hydantoins, sulfonamides, sulfonylureas, propranolol and other β-blockers, ACE inhibitors (such as captopril), loop and thiazide diuretics, probenecid, aspirin, lithium, methotrexate, coumarin anticoagulants (such as warfarin), zidovudine, fluoroquinolone antibiotics (such as enoxacin).
