The safety and efficacy of this medication have not been established in pediatric patients and adolescents under 19 years of age. Elderly patients are often at risk for reduced kidney function, so frequent kidney function checks and possible dosage adjustments are required when administering this medication. In cases of overdose, blood dialysis may be helpful, and immediate contact with a medical institution for appropriate treatment is necessary.
