This medication is used to treat constipation and to relieve symptoms that may occur due to constipation, such as loss of appetite, abdominal bloating, intestinal dysbiosis, and hemorrhoids.

How to take

Adult dose

Ages 15 and older: 1 tablet, three times a day, before meals (between meals or after meals). The dosing interval should be more than 4 hours; however, the initial dose should be the minimum amount, and adjust the dose gradually based on the shape and condition of the stool.

Child dose

Ages 11 and older to under 15: 1 tablet, twice a day, in the morning and evening, when fasting (before meals or between meals). The dosing interval should be more than 4 hours; however, the initial dose should be the minimum amount, and monitor the stool.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals with acute abdominal diseases, severe abdominal problems such as intestinal bleeding or ulcerative colitis, patients with intestinal obstruction, or children under the age of 7. Do not take this medication with antacids or milk; you must wait at least 1 hour after taking these foods or medicines before taking this medication. Individuals with severe abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, patients with kidney problems, or individuals taking other medications should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If you experience symptoms such as skin rash, redness, itching, severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort, or cramping while taking this medication, stop taking it immediately and consult a professional. Long-term use of this medication may lead to tolerance and worsening of constipation; therefore, do not use for more than one week, and if you need laxatives every day, it is necessary to identify the cause of the constipation. Store this medication in a tightly sealed container to keep out air, away from direct sunlight, in a dry and cool place where children cannot reach it. It is also advisable not to transfer the medication to another container to maintain drug quality and prevent misuse.
