Glitinlid Capsule (Choline Alphoscerate)

Adult dosage

Administer choline alfoscerate 400 mg orally 2～3 times daily. Adjust the dose as appropriate according to symptoms.

This medicine should not be administered to patients who are allergic to this medicine or its components. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not take this medicine. This medicine contains a dye called Yellow No. 5; therefore, patients with allergies to this substance or who have previously shown hypersensitivity should use it with caution. Nausea may occur when taking this medicine, which is due to the influence of this medicine on dopamine action. If such symptoms occur, the dose should be reduced. Additionally, attention should be paid as symptoms may worsen in patients with gastritis or gastrointestinal diseases. It can affect the mental and nervous system, leading to symptoms such as drowsiness, insomnia, irritability, nervousness, convulsions, and hyperactivity. When storing, it should be kept in a safe place out of the reach of children, and transferring the medicine to another container should be avoided as it may cause accidents and can adversely affect the quality of the medicine.
