This medication is used for patients with essential hypertension who do not achieve adequate blood pressure control even with the administration of a combination of Telmisartan and Amlodipine. Additionally, Rosuvastatin is used as an adjunct in the treatment of primary hypercholesterolemia that is not controlled by diet and exercise and mixed hyperlipidemia. It helps to manage cholesterol levels in patients with familial hypercholesterolemia or dysbetalipoproteinemia and slows the progression of atherosclerosis. Especially in middle-aged and older patients with elevated high-sensitivity C-reactive protein levels and risk factors for cardiovascular disease, it reduces the risk of stroke, myocardial infarction, and arterial revascularization procedures. Therefore, this medication is used to improve cardiovascular health through blood pressure and lipid management.
