This medication is used to relieve various types of pain and inflammation such as bruises, muscle pain, joint pain, and back pain. It is also effective for skin itching or insect bites and helps treat chilblains (frostbite). Thus, this drug is widely used to improve various types of pain, inflammation, and skin issues.
Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area (site of the condition) 1-4 times a day.
This medication should not be used by individuals who are allergic to any ingredients contained in this drug. It should not be applied to mucous membranes such as the eyes, eye area, or inside the mouth, nor should it be applied to areas with eczema, dermatitis, or wounds. Individuals who have experienced allergic reactions to drugs or cosmetics, or those with a family history of allergic conditions, must consult a professional before using this medication. Patients with moist skin or skin that is chafed, those receiving treatment from a physician, or patients with circulatory diseases or diabetes should also consult a healthcare professional before use. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, breastfeeding women, and children under 12 should discuss with a professional before using this medication. If symptoms such as rash, redness, swelling, itching, or pain appear while using this product, use should be discontinued immediately and a professional should be consulted. Additionally, if symptoms do not improve after 5-6 days of use, it is advised to stop using the medication and consult a physician. The prescribed dosage and method of use must be strictly followed, and adult supervision is required when children are using this medication. This medication is for external use only and should never be ingested or inhaled. Care should be taken to avoid contact with the eyes, and if contact occurs, it should be rinsed immediately with clean water. When the medication comes into contact with the hands, care must be taken to avoid contact with mucous membranes, and hands that have touched the medication should be washed thoroughly. Do not cover or wrap the area where the medication has been applied, and avoid exposure to hot water or heat. Take caution as water may cause irritation to the area where the medication is applied. Individuals with sensitive skin should avoid repeated use on the same area. The presence of methyl salicylate means that symptoms of toxicity could appear if used over a wide area for an extended period of time; caution is advised in such cases. This medication should be kept out of reach of children, stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and the cap must be closed tightly during storage. Transferring the medication to another container may lead to misuse or diminished quality, so it must be stored in its original container at all times. After use, ensure that the cap is securely closed, as leaks may stain or damage plastic, clothing, wood, and leather.
