Precautions

This medication contains chlorhexidine, which has sterilizing and disinfecting effects. This medication should not be used in patients who have had allergic reactions to chlorhexidine. Moreover, it is safest not to use it on areas of the nervous system such as the brain, spinal cord, and ears. Caution is necessary as serious side effects can occur if used on mucosal areas such as the vagina, bladder, and mouth. Avoid direct contact with the eyes, and if it gets into the eyes, rinse immediately with clean water. If symptoms such as nausea, dizziness, difficulty breathing, or redness occur during use, stop using it immediately and consult a healthcare professional. It is not safe to use this medication on extensive wounds or burn areas, especially in newborns and premature infants, as the risk of side effects is high. Medical instruments that have come into contact with this medication must be thoroughly cleaned, as residual soap or organic materials may reduce its sterilizing effect. When diluting, it is recommended to use clean distilled water, and the diluted solution should be made fresh daily. This medication can corrode when it comes into contact with certain metals or glass, so it should not be used on medical devices made of those materials. When storing, maintain suitable temperature and pH conditions, and do not store diluted solutions for long periods; use them immediately.
