This medication is used for patients who require simultaneous administration of Candesartan Cilexetil and Rosuvastatin. Candesartan Cilexetil is mainly used in patients with essential hypertension or heart failure with impaired left ventricular systolic function when additional ACE inhibitor treatment is needed or is not tolerated well. Rosuvastatin is used as an adjunct to diet in patients with hypercholesterolemia and various types of dyslipidemia, especially to delay the progression of atherosclerosis and reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases. It also reduces the risk of stroke, myocardial infarction, and arterial revascularization and is useful for patients at high risk for cardiovascular diseases. The combination therapy of these two medications effectively improves the health status of patients by managing hypertension, dyslipidemia, and cardiovascular risk factors together.
