For example, symptoms may worsen in cases of bacterial, fungal, or viral skin infections, or skin infections caused by animals. Additionally, patients who are allergic to this medication or its components, or those with perforated eardrums should avoid use. It is also advisable to avoid administration in cases of skin ulcers, severe burns, perioral dermatitis, common acne, or rosacea. People with hypersensitivity to aminoglycoside antibiotics or bacitracin should not use this medication. Avoid use if there are wounds around the eyes, eye area, or breast. Caution is required for pregnant or potentially pregnant women, nursing mothers, and children, especially in cases of allergy to propylene glycol. When using this medication, various side effects such as worsening skin infections, skin irritation, rash, or itching may occur, so it is important to immediately discontinue use and consult a specialist if these symptoms occur. When used for long periods or over large areas, systemic side effects may occur, so caution is needed. This medication should not be used in the eyes; if it gets into the eyes, rinse immediately with clean water, and if symptoms are severe, seek an ophthalmologist's care. When storing, keep it out of reach of children and do not use it for purposes other than treatment. Pregnant and nursing women are advised not to use this medication in large amounts or for long durations, and should consult a specialist when treatment is necessary.
