Precautions

This medication should not be used on open wounds or mucous membranes. Do not use in patients with skin infections caused by bacteria, fungi, viruses, or animals, as symptoms may worsen. This medication should not be applied to areas with pus. Patients with hypersensitivity to this medication or its ingredients, or those who have experienced an allergic reaction in the past, should not use it. Caution is needed for patients with eczematous external otitis who have a perforated eardrum, as healing may be delayed. Do not use on ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite areas as skin regeneration may be hindered. It is advisable not to use this medication for perioral dermatitis, common acne, or rosacea. Individuals with allergic constitutions or those who have had allergic reactions to medications or cosmetics in the past should use it cautiously. Caution is required for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or for children, as well as in cases of wide areas being treated. This medication contains an ingredient called propylene glycol, so those allergic to it should also be careful. If symptoms of skin infection, rash, itching, or irritation occur during use, discontinue immediately and consult a specialist. Long-term use may cause thinning of the skin, pigmentation changes, or side effects such as acne; therefore, caution is required. Using in large amounts or extensively for a long time may affect the entire body, so regular check-ups with a physician are important. When using around the eyes, exercise caution as it may cause increased intraocular pressure or diseases such as glaucoma. This medication is for external use only; avoid contact with the mouth and eyes. Keep out of reach of children, store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not use expired products and do not transfer to another container. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should avoid long-term or high-dose use of this medication and use it only when necessary under a physician's judgment. Breastfeeding women should also use it cautiously, and children should use it under the supervision of guardians due to the higher risk of side effects owing to their relatively larger skin surface area compared to their weight. Using methods like occlusive dressing may increase the risk of side effects, so it should be used strictly according to a doctor’s instructions. If symptoms do not improve after 5-6 days, it is advisable to discontinue use and consult a specialist. This medication should not be used long-term; it is safest to discontinue use as soon as symptoms improve.
