If a patient has been diagnosed with chronic persistent hepatitis characterized by continuously elevated SGPT levels, it indicates ongoing inflammation in the liver. In such cases, appropriate treatment is necessary to prevent liver cell damage and dysfunction. Hepatitis medications help improve liver function by suppressing liver inflammation and aiding liver cell regeneration. They also play an important role in maintaining liver health and preventing disease progression. Therefore, it is important to use such medications for the treatment of chronic persistent hepatitis.
