Adult dose

The recommended dose of this medicine is 1 tablet (0.5mg) once daily. Swallow this medicine whole without chewing or splitting it. It may be taken with or without food. No dose adjustment is necessary for patients with renal impairment or elderly patients. The recommended dose for patients with hepatic impairment has not been established because no data are available on the administration of this medicine to these patients.

This medication may be absorbed through the skin; therefore, women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not touch or take this medication. Particularly, it is important to avoid touching broken or damaged pieces of this medication. Children should also be kept from touching the pieces of this medication. Women, children under 18, and individuals allergic to this medication or its ingredients should not take this medication. Adult males planning to conceive should use this medication cautiously as it may affect reproductive capability, based on a physician's discretion. Patients with difficulty urinating or severe urinary disorders should use caution when taking this medication and monitor for symptoms such as urinary retention. Patients with poor liver function should also be careful when taking this medication. Additionally, co-administration with strong CYP3A4 inhibitors may increase the blood concentration of this medication, so caution is advised. While taking this medication, side effects related to sexual function such as erectile dysfunction, decreased libido, and ejaculation disorders may occur, and these symptoms may persist even after discontinuation of the drug. This medication can lower prostate-specific antigen (PSA) levels in blood tests; therefore, it is essential to inform about the use of this medication when interpreting PSA test results, and regular testing should be conducted. Patients taking this medication should immediately inform a doctor if lumps or abnormalities in the breast occur. Patients taking this medication should not donate blood for at least 6 months after their last dose. There is no specific antidote for overdose; therefore, if symptoms occur, appropriate treatment should be sought from a hospital, taking into consideration the long half-life of this medication. This medication should be stored out of reach of children and kept in its original container. The likelihood of affecting driving or operating machinery is low. When taking this medication with other drugs, it is important to consult with a doctor or pharmacist for safe use.
