Relief of temporary insomnia
This medication helps relieve temporarily occurring insomnia. It aids in improving the state of difficulty falling asleep to ensure better sleep. It reduces fatigue and stress caused by insomnia, enhancing vitality in daily life. It is used to restore a healthy sleep rhythm due to these effects.
Take 2 tablets (50 mg of diphenhydramine hydrochloride) orally once a day before bedtime. If excessive sedation occurs, take 1 tablet (25 mg of diphenhydramine hydrochloride) instead. This medication can be taken by placing it on the tongue to dissolve with or without water, or by chewing it.
This medication should not be used by certain patients. For instance, those who are allergic to this medication, or individuals who have difficulty breathing due to asthma, emphysema, or chronic bronchitis should avoid taking it. Moreover, patients with conditions such as glaucoma or benign prostatic hyperplasia should not take this medication. Patients with gastric narrowing due to peptic ulcers, children under 15 years of age, or individuals with seizure disorders like epilepsy should also refrain from using this medication. Women who are breastfeeding, those who frequently suffer from insomnia, and individuals diagnosed with insomnia should also avoid this medication. During the course of taking this medication, it should not be combined with other medications containing the same active ingredient, sedatives, cold medicines, antipyretics, cough medication, or allergy medication. It is also important not to take this medication for extended periods. If drowsiness persists after taking it, driving or operating machinery should be avoided, and alcohol should be refrained from. Patients with myasthenia gravis, those currently undergoing treatment, elderly patients, individuals with allergic constitutions or those who have previously experienced allergic reactions to medications, and women who are pregnant or may become pregnant must consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If symptoms such as skin rash, itching, vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness, headache, drowsiness, palpitations, difficulty urinating, or visual disturbances occur after taking the medication, it should be discontinued immediately and a healthcare professional should be consulted. The medication should be taken according to the prescribed dosage and frequency, and if insomnia persists for more than 2 weeks, it is essential to consult a doctor. Finally, this medication should be kept out of reach of children and stored securely in its original container.
