Improvement of acute coronary syndrome (cardiovascular abnormalities) and reduction of the risk of atrial fibrillation (stroke etc.)
This medication is used for adult patients with acute coronary syndrome. This includes patients with unstable angina or non-Q wave myocardial infarction, who have undergone drug therapy, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), or coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). This treatment reduces the risk of cardiovascular abnormalities, myocardial infarction, stroke, etc. Additionally, it is used to reduce the risk of stroke and thromboembolism in patients with atrial fibrillation who have one or more vascular risk factors and for whom vitamin K antagonists are not appropriate and have a low risk of bleeding. Thus, this medication is effective in prevention and improvement of complications related to cardiovascular diseases.
1 capsule (Aspirin/Clopidogrel 75/75 mg) once daily.
This medication helps to prevent blood clotting and reduce the formation of blood clots. When taking this medication, the time it takes for bleeding to stop may be longer than usual, so if there is a bleeding site or bleeding persists, you should inform your doctor immediately. Before undergoing surgery or starting a new medication, you should inform medical personnel that you are taking this medication. If there is a genetically reduced function of certain enzymes, the efficacy of this medication may be diminished, so consultation with medical personnel is necessary. Additionally, concomitant use with certain medications may increase the risk of bleeding, so co-administration is best avoided. Persons who consume alcohol regularly may have an increased risk of gastrointestinal bleeding when taking this medication, so consultation with a specialist is necessary. This medication should not be administered to patients at high risk for bleeding, patients with severe liver or kidney dysfunction, hemophilia patients, women in late pregnancy, or lactating women. It should be used cautiously in patients with gastrointestinal diseases or a tendency to bleed, and if bleeding symptoms appear, consult medical personnel immediately. This medication inhibits the function of platelets in the blood, which may increase the risk of bleeding, so it is important to periodically check the bleeding risk through blood tests. Also, during the use of this medication, caution should be exercised regarding the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) or other anticoagulants, as this may further increase the risk of bleeding. In the early and mid stages of pregnancy, this medication should only be used if the therapeutic benefits are deemed to outweigh the risks, and it is generally safer not to use it in late pregnancy. If breastfeeding, it is recommended not to administer this medication as it may be excreted in breast milk. This medication is not recommended for children under 18 years of age, as safety and efficacy have not been established. While taking this medication, there is no effect on driving or operating machinery, but caution is still necessary due to the risk of bleeding. In the event of an overdose, bleeding may worsen, so immediate contact with a medical institution for appropriate action is necessary. This medication should be stored in a tightly sealed container to prevent exposure to air or moisture. It is best to store it at room temperature between 1°C and 30°C.
