It is also effective in conditions such as megaloblastic anemia, pernicious anemia accompanied by neurological disorders, and malabsorption syndrome. This medication may also be used in certain parasitic infections like diphyllobothriasis. Furthermore, it helps in various neurological symptoms such as nutritional anemia, pregnancy-related anemia, anemia following gastrectomy, anemia due to cirrhosis, leukopenia caused by radiation therapy, neuralgia, peripheral neuritis, and peripheral nerve paralysis. Due to these effects, it effectively improves vitamin B12 deficiency and related conditions.
