Treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers and gastritis (antacid effect, symptom improvement)
This medication exerts an antacid effect to alleviate symptoms such as heartburn, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, and belching caused by excessive gastric acid related to gastric and duodenal ulcers and gastritis. It neutralizes gastric acid to relieve discomfort and protects the gastric mucosa to aid healing. As a result, patients feel more comfortable and gastrointestinal symptoms improve. Therefore, it is effectively used for gastric-related diseases and symptoms.
Take Almagate at a dose of 1 g three times a day after meals, by chewing and taking orally 30 minutes to 1 hour after meals. An additional dose can be taken before bedtime if necessary.
Children over 12 years of age should take Almagate at a dose of 1 g three times a day after meals, by chewing and taking orally 30 minutes to 1 hour after meals. An additional dose can be taken before bedtime if necessary.
This medication should not be taken by those who have allergies to this drug or its components. Patients with Alzheimer's disease, hemorrhoids, fluid retention, preeclampsia, diarrhea, or undiagnosed gastrointestinal bleeding should also avoid taking it. Furthermore, individuals with lactose intolerance or certain genetic metabolic disorders should not take this medication due to the lactose it contains. It is recommended to avoid taking this medication concurrently with tetracycline antibiotics. If you are taking other medications, consult your doctor or pharmacist as this drug may affect the absorption or excretion of other drugs. Particularly, patients with impaired kidney function, the elderly, pregnant women, or nursing mothers should consult a professional before use. If gastrointestinal symptoms such as constipation or diarrhea occur during use or if symptoms do not improve within two weeks, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. When taking, be sure to adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration, and children should take it under parental supervision. Store this drug out of the reach of children, and keep it in its original container in a cool place away from direct sunlight and moisture.

Do not take this medication with tetracycline antibiotics. Consult your doctor or pharmacist when taking it with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, ulcer treatments, digoxin, chlorpromazine, lansoprazole, prednisolone, penicillin, quinolones, iron preparations, or salicylates.
This drug should be stored in a sealed container to prevent air or moisture from entering, and it is safe to store it at room temperature between 1 degree and 30 degrees Celsius. This will help maintain the efficacy of the drug and prevent degradation.
